The Democratic Alliance for the Fatherland ((フランス語:Alliance Démocratique pour la Patrie), ADP), also known as simply L'Alliance, is a political party in Togo.
==History==
The ADP was formed as an opposition party in September 2005 by former Prime Minister Agbéyomé Kodjo and former National Assembly President Dahuku Péré.〔"Former Togolese National Assembly Speaker, ex-premier form new opposition party", Radio France Internationale, 17 September 2005〕〔(L’Alliance démocratique pour la Patrie représente une nouvelle espérance pour le Togo ), Infoplus Gabon, 6 February 2006 〕 Dahuku Péré is the President of the Alliance.
The Alliance participated in the October 2007 parliamentary elections, nominating 104 candidates (including substitutes) in 19 prefectures, as well as Lomé.〔(Agboyibo fin prêt pour les législatives ) Republic of Togo, 13 September 2007 〕 However, it received just 0.7% of the vote and failed to win a seat in the National Assembly.〔(Le RPT remporte les premières élections pluralistes ) Republic of Togo, 30 October 2007 〕
